RegenTec’s injectable scaffolds are designed to enhance the clinical uptake of regenerative medicine through ease of use and improved performance. This platform will form the foundation for three product types, which target unmet commercial and clinical need. These include:

• a space filling template to support tissue repair processes
• a delivery vehicle for growth factors and therapeutics that stimulate new tissue formation
• a cell delivery vehicle that protects cells during injection, localises them, and then provides a controlled environment that supports tissue formation

Our commercial strategy is to develop a range of orthopaedic products in-house and pursue joint development programmes in other fields. R&D programs include the development of the scaffold materials into products that:

• Act as bone graft substitutes that support natural bone repair processes and can deliver the patient’s own bone progenitor cells and bioactives
• Release orthobiologicals in a controlled and sustained manner
• Act as a cell delivery vehicle to facilitate a wide range of stem cell therapies
